Row of Roses

I made this bracelet from a pattern in the Bead & Button Magazine, August 2013.
The designer is Mabeline Gidez.
Her patterns are so pretty. I also have her book.
This is one of my favorite bracelets, the colors in the pictures aren't as good as the actual bracelet.

I Love Clay 2013 Blog Hop

I received 2 pieces of clay from our host, Lisa Lodge and this is her website: http://gratefulartist.blogspot.com/
Thank you for letting me participate on this blog hop.
Both my pieces are from Blu Mudd, and I have a picture of both pieces in one of my previous posts.
I am so excited, I didn't buy anything for either one of my pieces, I used everything from my bead collection.
The above piece I used 6mm round crystals in two different colors, and I made links with wire.
Too bad is so cloudy and cold outside, so my pictures didn't turned out as nice. Brrr.

My second piece is a bracelet bar, I had a hard time with one. I could not make anything I liked, until last night.
I use gemstone beads( I don't know what they are, those are one of the first beads I both when I started beading about 5 years ago) and freshwater pearls.
I thought it would be easier to make something when you have the pieces. But I found it quite challenging, I really had a lot of fun.
Thank again Lisa for letting me participate at the last minute.
Please visit Lisa's Blog to see what the other participants have created.

For this bracelet  I used tile beads, superduos, drop beads and seed beads.

On this pendant I used epoxy clay and crystals.

I used a netting stitch and I used glass pearls and seed beads.

This bracelet is using tila beads, delicas, fire polished beads and seed beads.

Sequintastic September Blog Hop

This Hop is hosted by Sarah Sequins from: http://www.saturdaysequins.com/
Please visit her blog and you can find the list of all participants.
A very big thank to Sarah for hosting this wonderful hop.

This hop is about making whatever you want, but you must use some sequins.
I made a bead embroidery bracelet using sequins, seed beads and in the center I used buttons.

This is my first resin piece, I made a pendant with Swarovski sequins and regular sequins. I need a lot of practice.

I hope you have a chance to check Sarah Sequins blog.

Pearls! Pearls!! Pearls!!! Blog Hop

This time I am participating in the Pearls! Pearls!! Pearls!!! Blog Hop .
I am so excited, I love pearls, all kinds of pearls!!
This blog is hosted by Michelle from : http://www.misheldesigns.blogspot.com/
A very special thank you to Michelle for hosting this blog hop.
Please visit her blog and you will be able to see all the treasures from the the participants.

The necklace above is made with freshwater pearls and is a russian spiral stitch.
All my freshwater pearls are from JJ beads in Huntington Beach, California.
Jenny Van,  the store owner is a contributor to Bead and Button magazine and her website is :
http://beadsj.com/

This bracelet is a kit I purchased at JJ beads.
Is Freshwater pearls and seed beads.

This bracelet is called Lilac Lace and the designer is Yasmin Sarfati, this pattern is from the Beadwork Magazine Feb/March 2013.
I used cream color glass pearls(Hobby Lobby), brown crystals from JJ Beads and gold seed beads.

This necklace is made with crystals and freshwater pearls and the pendant is a pattern from Jenny Van, called Crystal Passion.

This last necklace is made of freshwater pearls and they are drilled on the top so when strung they are alternate, one on one side, the next on the other side. Those are also from JJ beads.
This was a lot of fun, thank you again Michelle, and don't forget to visit the Hop here:

Bead Hoarders Blog Hop

The Bead Hoarders Blog Hop Is By Lori Anderson. Thank you so much for hosting this blog hop. The blog hop can be seen at: http://jewelrydesignchallenges.blogspot.com
I just came back from San Francisco and didn't have much time to work on this hop.
What I did is I just finished some pieces that were started a long time ago and just waiting to be completed.
My first piece is a pearl cuff done in right angle weave and I used Swarovski crystals in hana ami motif.

This is a necklace with seed beads and glass beads.

I bought these beads about five years ago and they were just sitting there because I didn't know what to make out of them.
So I made this necklace.
Thank you again to Lori Anderson for hosting this blog hop. Please make sure that you visit her blog and see what the other participants created at http://jewelrydesignchallenges.blogspot.com

My Country, of thee I Bead Hop

I grew up in Brazil, so I decided to do this hop about Brazil.
Nan Smith, from http://wirednan.blogspot.com/ ,  is the host for this wonderful hop.
You have to make a piece of jewelry and write about it.
The colors for the Brazilian flag are yellow, green blue and white, and since tomorrow is the finals for the Confederation's Cup and Brazil is one of the finalists, I thought why not?
I have so many good memories about my childhood and I will treasure them forever.
In Brazil there are so many butterflies, so I also made two butterflies bracelet :

And here is where I found the butterfly inspiration, when I first moved here to the USA,  I was given those frames as gifts:

Thank you so much to Nan Smith for hosting this very nice hop and for allowing us beader's to have fun.
Please make sure you visit all the other blogs on this hop and here is link again:

History Hop

I am doing the History Hop hosted by Leah Curtis and here is the link to her blog: http://beadyeyedbunny.blogspot.co.uk/
Please make sure you visit her blog and check out what the other participants created.

You choose a specific region and civilization and then you create your pieces.
I choose the Indus Valley Civilization, partly because is my heritage, my grandparents were all born in India.
For this era the jewelry was made of gold, semi precious stones, pearls, copper, pearls, corals, shells, etc..
So for my first piece I had a pendant made of pearls, coral and green stones(emerald imitation), so I decided to make a necklace using the some colors as the pendant.
Then I had components and I had no idea what I was going to make with it.
Voila! I made a necklace and a bracelet to match.
Thank you so much Leah for giving us a chance to show-off our creativity, and all the work you have put into this challenge
