My Country, of thee I Bead Hop

I grew up in Brazil, so I decided to do this hop about Brazil.
Nan Smith, from http://wirednan.blogspot.com/ ,  is the host for this wonderful hop.
You have to make a piece of jewelry and write about it.
The colors for the Brazilian flag are yellow, green blue and white, and since tomorrow is the finals for the Confederation's Cup and Brazil is one of the finalists, I thought why not?
I have so many good memories about my childhood and I will treasure them forever.
In Brazil there are so many butterflies, so I also made two butterflies bracelet :

And here is where I found the butterfly inspiration, when I first moved here to the USA,  I was given those frames as gifts:

Thank you so much to Nan Smith for hosting this very nice hop and for allowing us beader's to have fun.
Please make sure you visit all the other blogs on this hop and here is link again:

  5. Oi Jasvanti! Ana

  7. Jasvanti, again you have created beautiful jewelry! Your Brazilian butterfly jewelry is stunning: the colors are so rich and vibrant, I feel like I'm there watching the butterflies dance and the flag wave in the wind. The pendant is exquisite! I love it. And your bracelets are so pretty, full of beauty and style. How do you do it? Lovely beadwork again!

The butterfly frames are very pretty also. Thank you for sharing your cherished gifts from new friends, and your memories. The gemstone frames and butterflies make me happy, as does your jewelry:)

    Wonderful jewelry art! Happy Hopping,
    Love,
    Rita

  9. Jasvanti, I love your jewelry. I have visited your blog earlier too and every time I loved the bracelets you posted. I am intrigued to know how special butterflies are for you. Jasvanti is a very common, special name in India. Today I learned a lot about Brazil

Your butterfly bracelets are beautiful. I saw a similar pattern in Fire Mountain catalog but I like your color combinations better.
